This weeks blog hop is "show off your art". I really like creative, artistic things. That doesn't mean I am some great artist at all, it's just what I am attracted to. When I was 20 or so I went to school to do nails. The part I liked the most was painting pictures on people's nails. After I had my daughter Meghan I started creating cakes which I LOVE. It allows me to have a creative outlet and is just so fun. Plus you get to eat it! Now I don't make cakes as often, but I have started scrapbooking (about 2 years ago). I love to scrapbook because it is like a journal of your life. I get to be creative and tell about my kids at the same time. I have so much fun.
So today I am going to share some of my favorite cakes and then some of my favorite scrapbooking pages. There is also a cutting board I altered for a swap. It was for someone that decorates her kitchen in a Coke theme.

Art at my house.
Here are some pictures I had to add. Meghan (7 years old) made an elephant and a cat with clay. I though they were so cute! She did a great job.

Those cakes are quite impressive!!
And I KNOW it is an art just to fit that kind of creativity into a day with little ones;-)
Lovely!

Got here via the bloghop. Your cakes are so gorgeous, looks very yummy and tempting. Wish I could have such a creative hand in cake decorating, as well as in scrapbooking.
What beautiful cakes! (Two of my favorite shows are the cake challenges and Ace of Cakes :o)
