Things we have learned since moving to Oklahoma

This post is inspired by my friend LaVonna who has a similar post on her blog after recently moving to Mississippi, (from Arizona also). Thanks LaVonna!

-Everything happens at a slow pace here.

-There are so many bugs and they are all huge.

-Meghan is deathly afraid of wasps, (have you heard the screams?)

-There is no good Mexican food :( I miss Carlos O'Brien's

-Sweet Tea is served everywhere... Kaden thinks all drinks other than water and milk are "sweet tea".

-Directions are not given by street names but by landmarks such as homes, buildings, trees.. you get it.

-Everything grows easily

-It is NOT a dry heat

-It's hard to not be close to family.

-People are very friendly.
