Fun Filled Weekly Workboxes August 3-7

Here is what we will be working on this week. Check out Kendra's blog for more fun ideas!

-Hooked on Phonics - We finished Level 2 readers and started on level 3. Meghan was bored so we kind of skipped through some. We will go ahead with it because she can read the readers included for practice but I think we will be done with level 3 very quickly.

-Spelling - We started this last week. She is doing spelling words and practicing writing with this.

-Math-U-See - We are going to go ahead and finish this level but I have decided we are going to be adding more living math and not getting the next level. There will be more games and actual "doing" to learn math concepts.

-Home EC. - We will be extending our lesson on eggs. She is going to make hard cooked eggs and Meringue cookies.

-Farmer Boy Unit - We will be finishing up some of the things we didn't get to last week. If we finish we will continue on to chapter two.

-mazes, puzzles and games

-crayon shavings cutouts

Again there will be more but these are some ideas we can share right now. Thanks for checking us out!

Ooo!! We love Yahtzee! Boogle is another favorite around here as well, as long as we "adjust" the rules a tiny bit. ;)

I have actually been looking for boggle. No stores close to me have it, I may have to order it online. :) You might have to tell me how you adjust the rules. :)
